A Hero's Loss

Description

I remember the Death of Superman, but since I never read Superman comics, I wondered if the Death of Lois Lane ever happened.... I know in the movie she died, but for some reason, Superman was able to turn back time. Again, I don't read the comics, so I don't know if that's some power he has. But I wondered just how devasted Superman would be if he lost the only woman he's truly loved and been in love with.

Drawn and inked on regular paper, scanned, and colored in Photoshop. Still don't have my coloring down, what with only a mouse to use. But I still think it's one of my better drawings of Superman.

Well, lets see here:
Superman's speed is near light Speed.
Flash is at light speed, thanks to the speed force. So,Flash is generally, slightly faster. But as fast as Flash is, there is a limit to his speed. Because if he goes past light speed, his molicules become unstable, so either flash would be dragged into the speed force, or even die!
If anyone who has seen the episode of Justice league Unlimited, where Flash had no choice but faster than usual to defeat Lex Luthor, in his power suit. and in so doing, he was almost sucked into the speed force, but the members of the league helped him from getting completely sucked in. And Flash said in the show, he will never go that fast again. They almost lost him, that time.

Anyway, Superman can already travel sublight speeds on Earth.
His powers are charged by the sun. So,if he flies closer towards or even into the yellow sun, absorbing enoooormous amounts of the Earth sun's engery, gaining incredible power - godlike porportions! And could convert that power into speed, which would make him much faster that the speed of light, which was stated in the comics. And in so doing, he could travel through time. And according to the inoformation I gathered, I heard that DC comics and the Writers of "Smallvile" are reverting Superman's powers back to pre-crisis levels.
And as a fan, I find that pretty cool:)
